„Auch auf Papier – denn es gibt immer einen größeren Zusammenhang.“ Die schlanken Ölbilder auf Hahnemühle und Büttenpapier entstehen seit 2017 parallel zu den Mittel- und Großformaten. Mal sind es Zeichnungen, die spontan eine neue Ebene erhalten, mal muss der Pinselstrich auf einer neuen weißen Fläche vollendet werden. Die Distanz zum Kleinformat verschafft einen sofortigen Blick auf die Komposition, was das Werk mit dem Wunsch nach Vergrößerung leicht zum Prototypen macht. Die SLIM-Bilder fließen sowohl als Inspiration als auch als Resonanz laufend mit und haben ihre ganz eigene Qualität.

„It works on paper, cause ther is always a bigger picture.“ The slim oil paintings on Hahnemühle and rag paper have been created in parallel with the medium and large formats since 2017. Sometimes they are drawings that spontaneously acquire a new layer, sometimes a brushstroke must be completed on a new white surface. The distance to the small format provides an immediate view of the composition, which, combined with the desire for enlargement, easily turns the work into a prototype. The SLIM paintings continuously flow as both inspiration and resonance and have their very own quality.
