Das umfangreiche Werk manifestiert sich in etwa 350 Ölgemälden, die in verschiedenen Staffeln arrangiert sind – mal als episodische Sequenz, mal als serielle Komposition. Sie vermeidet bewusst konstruierte Muster zugunsten einer organisch gewachsenen Malerei und durchbricht eine lineare Narrative. Zeitlosigkeit und Authentizität prägen Tinas Arbeit – ältere und neuere Werke stehen gleichberechtigt nebeneinander und bilden ihre Staffeln.

In „25 Colors Stockholm,“ Tina Oelker positions painting as the core medium of her artistic vision, crafting a sophisticated synthesis of abstract painting and conceptual art. This expansive series unfolds across approximately 350 oil paintings, presented in various seasons – at times as episodic sequences, at other moments as serial compositions. Eschewing rigid structures, she embraces an organic approach to painting, allowing each piece to grow intuitively. In doing so, she challenges linear narratives and temporal constraints. Older and newer works coexist as equals, coming together to form her seasons – much like the distinct seasons of a television series.

Tina Oelker, geboren 1973 in Hamm (Westfalen), lebt und arbeitet seit 1995 in Hamburg. Nach Studien in New York und Hamburg entwickelte sie eine vielseitige künstlerische Praxis, die Malerei, Texte, Zeichnungen und Kurzfilme umfasst. Mit den Galerien „Durchgang“ und „Hafentor7“ prägte sie die Hamburger Kunstszene. 2007 initiierte sie das Langzeitprojekt „1000 Hasen“. Seit 2015 steht das Programm „25 Farben Stockholm“ im Mittelpunkt ihrer Arbeit, das sie kontinuierlich um neue Formate wie den „Veracity Report“ und „Topia“ erweitert.

Tina Oelker, born 1973 in Hamm, Westphalia, is a German artist based in Hamburg. Known for her independent spirit from an early age, she continually reinvents herself and explores diverse disciplines. Her first major public projects were the producer galleries “Durchgang” and “Hafentor7.” With the launch of her long-term project “1000 Hasen” (1000 Hares), she gained wider recognition, completing 1000 original hare paintings by the end of 2014 and shifting her focus to abstract work. Tina’s practice blends painting, poetry, prose, and conceptual approaches, resulting in a distinctive body of work developed over three decades. She often revisits and integrates earlier pieces into ongoing processes, creating interconnected work complexes that exist beyond linear time. Her method is experimental and immersive, capturing themes layer by layer and rendering them in her abstract visual language.
