I created Fem Färger as a group of five paintings, each measuring 70 × 60 cm. Their titles are inspired by the hand-painted floating frames, which I consider an integral part of every work. Some of the paintings evolved over a long period of time, while others found their final form through a more reduced visual language. Together, they reflect different ways of arriving at a painting.
