    Description

    Developed between 2018 and 2020, Apollon emerged through a slow process of observation, layering and revision. Yellow, blue and white create a luminous field in which colour becomes the primary subject. Named after the Greek god of light, the painting explores the atmosphere of myth rather than its narration, allowing light and colour to unfold as an open space of perception.

    Description

    Created between 2014 and 2017, Heracles developed through a multi-stage process that began as a figurative painting at Hafentor7. Through repeated layers of erasure, revision and repainting, the work gradually transformed, allowing the oil colours to gain their characteristic depth and luminous intensity. Within the gods series of 25 Colours Stockholm, I explore mythology as a space where colour, form and symbolic meaning meet. Heracles reflects this ongoing process of transformation — where traces of earlier states remain present within the final image.
