Descriotion
Tyro grew from one of my original SLIM paintings, expanding its visual language through intuition, colour and scale. While remaining connected to its origin, the painting developed its own presence and organic rhythm. Named after Tyro from Greek mythology, the work continues my exploration of myth as a space for association rather than narrative. The original SLIM painting remains an independent work within my oeuvre.
