Description

Minor Resistance and Vulpis mark a return to a painting approach I first explored in Dione (2015): working on a pre-primed colour ground. After adapting this method to smaller formats in 2016, I returned to it again in 2023. Although created at different moments within my practice, these paintings reveal the continuity of a painterly idea that runs throughout 25 Colours Stockholm. Both works were painted on canvases from New York, each measuring 30 × 24 × 2 inches.
